About Jay
Jay Hilbert has recently joined WKW as a Partner and subject matter expert covering Wireless, Telco and Cloud. Hilbert has been a global sales leader for the past 25 years working for leading companies such as Nokia, CommScope, DZS, Cambium Networks, Spirent, Viasat and Jabil. He spent considerable time in Europe, Middle East and Asia driving new business and has managed sales teams as large 600 and consistently met or exceeded company expectations.
Hilbert has deep knowledge and understanding of all connectivity technologies including FTTH/B, 4G/5G, Small Cells, Fixed Wireless Access, Satellite (GEO. MEO and LEO), AI/Machine Learning, Ethernet and numerous Optical Networking products. He was consistently engaged with the CTO’s/PLM leaders to ensure that products and services were tightly aligned with customer needs and expectations. Hilbert was also involved in over 20 acquisitions and assisted in selecting and integrating the companies to ensure optimal performance.
He has more recently been engaged with implementing and driving SaaS and other “as a service” offerings while at DZS and Viasat with proven success. He has also served on a number of Advisory Boards during his career including Ribbon Communications, Reflect Systems, Aktino…
Jay attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a BS in Engineering Management while captaining the Football team his senior year. His initial entrance to the work force was with the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and then the Baltimore Stars of the USFL as an offensive lineman where his short career convinced him his future was in Telecom.
